The Gender Violence & Autonomy Project
The Gender Violence & Autonomy Project develops an ethical and social response to the harms of gender violence personally directed at individuals belonging to targeted gender and sexual groups.
With an investment of nearly $100,000 from the Government of Canada’s Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (2021-2026),The Gender Violence and Autonomy Project responds to harms to autonomy impeding a flourishing life for those members of groups experiencing routine threat of gender violence.
The Gender Violence & Autonomy Project is supported by Cape Breton University and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
